Tony Tackaberry CEO

Prior to founding Station 6 Tony Tackaberry was CEO of Lion Television US, which he launched more than 15 years ago.

Under his leadership, Lion became a leader in true crime, boasting multiple marquee series on Investigation Discovery, including Dead Reckoning, Diabolical, Crimes Gone Viral, Deadline Crime with Tamron Hall and more. Tackaberry was responsible for launching and then rebooting (twice) Lion’s global format Ca$h Cab, most recently for Bravo.

The series surpassed 500 episodes in the US under his stewardship. He recently ushered the Lion back to its premium doc roots with Smithsonian Channel’s Just One Man, which follows the life of James H. Before joining Lion, Tackaberry worked for major international production companies, including Endemol, Freemantle and Tiger Aspect.
